CCDM postponed two matches of Dhaka Premier League (DPL) today due to jam. The match between Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club vs Legends of Rupganj was supposed to be played at ground number 3 of Bangladesh Sports Education Institution (BKSP) in Savar. Prime Bank's opponent in BKSP's field number 4 was Pertex Sporting Club. For this reason, two matches did not take place today.
CCDM sources said an oil tanker overturned after Hemayetpur. The car immediately caught fire in this accident. The oil also fell on some cars nearby, which also caught fire. As a result, five-seven kilometers of roads get jammed. The cars of the players could not reach the ground at the specified time. I asked for the help of law enforcement, they also said that there was nothing to do at that moment. Because of which BKSP's two matches today have been postponed.
Regarding when the postponed matches will take place, it has been learned that Nurul Hasan Sohan's Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Mashrafe Bin Murtaza's Legends of Rupganj match will be held at BKSP ground number 3 tomorrow. The match between Tamim Iqbal's Prime Bank and Partex Sporting Club will be held at ground number 4.
