Before that, the two teams will play a five-match Twenty20 series at the Prairie View Cricket Complex (PVCC) in Houston, Texas next month. At the end of this series, the United States will be waiting for the Bangladesh team. As preparation for the World Cup, Nazmul Hossain Shantara will play a three-match Twenty20 series against the United States at the same venue in May. The first match of the series will be on May 21. The next two T20s will be on May 23 and 25.
The United States Cricket (USAC) has confirmed the schedule of these two series in discussions with ICC as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Cricket Canada. USA Cricket Chairman Venu told PC, 'These matches will be important for our team in view of T20 World Cup. I thank the ICC, Cricket Canada and the BCB for supporting the proposed schedule of matches.

Currently Bangladesh team is playing full series against Sri Lanka. The second ODI of the series will be played in Chittagong tomorrow.
