Special Jersey Unveiled by Sylhet Strikers for International Mother Language Day
Sylhet Strikers have made a special announcement at the outset of February, which marks the beginning of the language month. In honor of International Mother Language Day, the franchise will don a unique green jersey. This specially crafted jersey incorporates 20 distinctive elements, highlighting the region's rich history, tradition, and culture.
Scheduled for tomorrow, Friday at 2 pm, Mohammad Mithun will showcase this special jersey adorned in green as Sylhet Strikers take on the formidable Dhaka team. The unveiling of this special jersey took place at the residence of Bhasha Sainik Professor Abdul Aziz earlier this evening.

The franchise officially confirmed this news through a press release, stating that the Strikers' cricketers will sport this special jersey on February 2.
One of the striking features of this special jersey is that players' names and jersey numbers will be inscribed in Bengali letters, a unique occurrence in tournaments like the BPL. Additionally, the script used will be Sylhet's own 'Nagri Lipi'.
The design of the jersey is inspired by various landmarks of Sylhet, including its picturesque hills and tea plantations. Moreover, the special jersey incorporates several other distinct features.
Despite not securing a victory in any of the five matches played thus far, Sylhet Strikers are geared up to enter the field for their sixth match tomorrow afternoon.
