The T20 World Cup of women's cricket team will be held in Bangladesh in September-October with ten teams. Preparations have already started. A 5-member delegation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is visiting Bangladesh to check the facilities.
On the first day, April 22 (Monday), the delegation will visit Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, the home of cricket. They will monitor various areas of the stadium, academy, indoor facilities and hotels.
This has been confirmed by BCB women's department. It was informed from the Women's Department, 'A group of five members is coming to Dhaka to see the venue of the World Cup. Tomorrow they will first visit different places of Mirpur Stadium, then go to Sylhet.
The delegation is supposed to observe not only the stadium but also the facilities of the five-star hotel. Women's World Cup final will be held in Mirpur. And all the matches will be at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The delegation will go to Sylhet on Tuesday. They will see stadium and hotel facilities in the country of tea.
