Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi got off to a good start but were bowled out for 113 runs. Captain Meg Lanning and Shefali Verma scored 64 runs in the opening partnership. Sophie Molyneux broke the pair back to Shefali who scored 44 runs from 27 balls. Although not a hat-trick, Jemima (0) and Alice Capsey (0) returned in the same over. Delhi Capitals could not turn around after that.
Molyneux took three and Shreyanka Patil took 4 wickets for 12 runs in 3.3 overs.
Chasing a small target, Bengaluru's opening pair broke for 49 runs. Sophie Devine was dismissed for 32 runs off 27 balls. Smriti Mandhana also returned with 31 runs from 39 balls. But Alice Perry and Richa Ghosh did the rest. Perry scored 35 off 37 balls and Richa scored an unbeaten 17 off 14 balls to bring the team to victory.
Molyneux was man of the match in the final.
